Mission: “To help businesses obtain the best performance from their blogs and social media accounts and thereby potentially help them to market their goods and/or services better.”
I, Chris Franklin (pictured), founded The Blogger’s Bulletin in August, 2009 with direction from business leader and Contributor, Mike Clough. I also selected the 41 other Contributors to the site.
I originally named the site, The Business Blogger’s Bulletin (Note: You will find that the addresses TheBusinessBloggersBulletin.com/.org do, in fact, still forward to TheBloggersBulletin.com/.org). However, I tested both the above names and the majority of those surveyed preferred the shorter name, The Bloggers’ Bulletin. So that’s what we went with.
Why did I start The Bloggers Bulletin?
I had been blogging since November 2004 and had become a believer in the marketing value that blogging could have for a business. In 2009, I found a lot of general blogging and social media publications online, but none that specialized in serving a business readership.
So, I started The Blogger’s Bulletin because I saw an opportunity to serve what I perceived as a market – business readers — in need of more focused attention concerning blogging and social media.
